Biography
I studied artistic photography in Almería, drawn to the unusual, the delicate, and the things that often go unnoticed.
Documentary photography was my starting point, but self-portraiture became a way of exploring parts of myself I had yet to discover. Through the camera, I began to reveal what I couldn’t always put into words.
I come from a lineage of women connected to traditional healing and plant medicine, where rituals, plants and ancestral knowledge were a natural part of everyday life. From my father’s side, I inherited a deep curiosity about human nature.
Growing up, rituals always fascinated me. In my early twenties, I discovered the work of Alejandro Jodorowsky and became deeply interested in the idea that a symbolic act could bring about change in real life.
My curiosity about traditional healing and shamanic practices eventually led me to spend over a decade organising experiences and building bridges with Indigenous communities and their traditions, always with respect for their knowledge and cultural heritage.
Over time, these different paths began to come together.
Photography, self-exploration, ritual and human connection became different ways of approaching the same thing: what lies beneath the surface.
This is where Photo Ritual was born. An experience that brings together my artistic practice, years of learning and the belief that being seen can be a powerful part of discovering ourselves.
Today, my work moves between portraits, editorial photography, commissions, Photo Ritual and retreats.
For me, photography is a way of revealing what is already there, beyond what the eye can see.
